The rubber guard, the lockdown, the truck, twister side control — these aren't novelties here. They're a complete, interconnected methodology, taught progressively by black belt coaches so beginners build real understanding instead of collecting random moves.
Gi BJJ is a beautiful game — and a different one. When both players can grip heavy fabric, entire positions exist that vanish the moment the uniform comes off. No-gi is faster, scrambles are constant, and leg entanglements and wrestling exchanges play a much bigger role. It's also the form of grappling that transfers directly: to self-defense, where nobody wears a gi on the street, and to the grappling side of MMA, where the 10th Planet system was designed to live.
