Authentic Muay Thai Striking
Muay Thai at 10th Planet Murrieta isn't a glorified cardio class — it's authentic striking instruction in punches, kicks, elbows, and knees, built around real technique and real conditioning, for adults of every fitness level.
Pad work and bag work get your heart rate up as a byproduct of training real skill, not as the entire point of the workout.
Real Muay Thai instruction — the actual art of eight limbs — not a watered-down kickboxing format.
Tools to control range and end a confrontation before it ever goes to the ground.
An hour of hitting pads with full focus is one of the most effective stress outlets adults find in any fitness routine.
Muay Thai is called the art of eight limbs for a reason — punches, kicks, elbows, and knees, all woven into one devastatingly effective striking system. Born in Thailand and pressure-tested in rings around the world for centuries, it's as real as striking gets. Our adult Muay Thai program teaches the authentic fundamentals: stance, footwork, the jab-cross-hook-uppercut boxing core, round kicks, teeps, knees and elbows, and the clinch work that separates Muay Thai from every other kickboxing style.
You don't need to want to fight to train Muay Thai. Most of our students are here for the workout, the skill, and the stress relief — there's nothing like hitting pads after a long day. But everything we teach is functional. If you ever needed it, you'd have it.
Class starts with a high-energy warmup — jump rope, shadowboxing, and dynamic movement that gets your heart rate up fast. Then technique: our coaches break down strikes and combinations with attention to the details that make them work — hip rotation, weight transfer, guard position. Then pad rounds, where you put it all together on the pads with a partner, building timing, power, and conditioning in the most fun way possible.
We finish with conditioning and core work, because Muay Thai builds a different kind of fitness — explosive, durable, and functional. Controlled technical sparring is available for students who want it, but it's never required. You set your own intensity; our job is to make sure your technique is sharp.
Here's what makes training at 10th Planet Murrieta unique: many of our students train both Muay Thai and no-gi jiu jitsu under one roof. Striking and grappling are the two halves of a complete martial artist, and there's no better place in the Temecula Valley to develop both. Whether you train one discipline or both, you'll be coached by people who genuinely care about your progress.
First class is free — come throw some kicks and feel the difference. Contact us or call +1 (951) 708-6644. Find us at 26305 Jefferson Ave, Suite M in Murrieta; students drive in from Temecula, Menifee, Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, and Canyon Lake, French Valley, and Winchester.
That's exactly who this program is for. We start from stance and basic strikes, and every class is structured so beginners and experienced students both get what they need. Most people in the room started exactly where you are.
You control your intensity. Pad rounds and conditioning scale to your fitness level, and our coaches are experts at pushing you the right amount — enough to grow, never enough to break. Your fitness will catch up fast.
To start: comfortable workout clothes and water. As you continue, you'll want your own boxing gloves, hand wraps, and shin guards — we'll point you in the right direction when the time comes. Your first class needs nothing special.
No. Technical sparring is available for students who want to test their skills, but it's completely optional. Plenty of our students train Muay Thai for years purely for fitness, technique, and fun.
Absolutely — many of our students do. Striking and grappling complement each other perfectly, and training both under one roof is one of the biggest advantages of our academy. Ask us about options when you contact us.
